Calendar entries are overwriting previous entries

I spent about an hour entering events in to my calendar. I then added a few holidays and went to view my calendar and practically all the events I had enter had been over written with the last calendar holiday entry I made.

I then cleaned up my calendar... fixing everything that had been changed and was just about finished adding the rest of my calendar events for this year and it happened again... practically every previous event I had entered, was over written with the latest event entry I made.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Anyone have any suggestions to what could be causing the issue.

Why do Pending Payments Account get set up when you use PayPal? Are these attempts by someone to sign up and then they back out before completing the transaction?

backslashes appearing in form preview and email messages

When I fill in the PHP Form to e-Mail on my site anything that has an apostrophe turns into a backslash.

For example if I type in this message into a text are:
I'm performing a test. There's no need to respond.

The the preview page shows:
I\'m performing a test. There\'s no need to respond.

This happens on all text fields within the form, during preview and complete page. The email that is delivered also includes the backslash.

Can someone shed some light on how to eliminate the backslashes from showing up on the preview, complete page and in the email messages delivered?

Hi, I am having a problem. When a user leaves the site but comes back in rather than getting the log in page, they are getting the Profile page. Is there anyway to either kill the session when they leave the site or at least have them re-directed to the log in page or the index page of my site?

It would be great if the admin were not required to fill in required fields. The way we did this previously to MM was to enter the user's basic info (name and email) into the database, then have them come online and complete the form, which had numerous required fields. As it is now, I had to un-require most of my custom fields so the admin could add people on her own.

Setting recurring dates by day of week/month

Another question from my clients about recurring dates. Is there a way to set them based upon day of the week (every Friday or the first Monday of each month) vs by the date (set for every month it shows up on the same date each week, not same day). Are they missing an option to do this?

paypal - an interface to add payments without having to manually edit the config file

Since my users arent too cool but they need to add continuously paypal membership is there any way to make a small interface to add the paypal payment code instead of having to manually modify the paypal_config file?

I'm not picky is just the medium user cant do that without any supervision and I really want to use your membership management. BUT I need help showing people that it's cool as I say to them

Outlook Syncing

My clients enjoy the calendar program very much. One question I am getting now is "Will the events program sync with my MS Outlook calendar"?

Unless I am missing something, I don't see that as a current option. Is this something that is in the future?

inside CMS: wrong redirect on visitor_login

I'm trying to put the protection in website baker cms, that allows to put PHP code inside its pages. However when I put the classic login instruction in the code page, when a not-authenticated user try to see the page, he's not redirected to the login page but to a wrong url that's like http://www.domain.com/pages/test.php?red.../test.php.

In general I think the code is launched inside the page that has a different name (in my case test.php) so the script see itself like that page (test.php) and it try to use the redirec= parameter calling itself again, but since that page doesnt have a redirect parameter (or in any way process it) the browser tells me that the page cannot be readdressed correctly.

Sorry if I'm not totally clear explaining my problem,
any help appreciated!

PayPal Integration issue

I found some issues:

1. PayPal no longer has the checkbox referenced in "un-check the checkbox which states to host it at the paypal site." I suspect this is one reason why the payment isn't recorded and the account is not created by MM2.

2. The instructions further say that "Click the link for the 'un-encrypted button code,'" but that link is no longer there either.

3. The instructions then say, "(3a) Within the code you pasted into this section add the following hidden form tag above the closing tag.

" This no longer functions properly because the button is hosted at PayPal.

Any suggestions, help?

with TLS autentication (or SSL).

Server Load?

We've been using CGI Form Manager for a number of years and honestly it's been one of our most useful tools.

We plan on hosting an RSVP form for a pretty big event and was wondering if I should have any concerns about the server load when the initial invitations go out. While the total number of expected RSVPs isn't that high, the first day will probably see a lot of traffic.

Is there anyway that I can predict the load or how it will handle it? Any tips in keeping things simple to prevent any problems?

It would be intuitive, and useful, if the following action was implemented:

A: SELECT Field Name from the drop-down list

B: Click on the "LIST ALL" button.

C: The Display lists the Database contents SORTED by the selection made in step "A"
