I'm finding that I am losing my font formatting in some of my email messages. I select the entire block of text, change the font to Trebuchet and set the size to 3. Things look find in the editor in the admin panel, but the test message comes across and some of the font has reverted back to Times Roman.
It appears to be a factor of how many characters are in the message itself. If I add a space at the end of a variable, it sometimes corrects the display. But this does not always fix things. I have also noticed that spaces are introduced in words at random locations.
Is this a known bug? I've looked at the HTML code in the editor and everything appears to be in order.
?
Very odd. Have not had any reports of this, or seen it myself.
Have you tested multiple e-mail clients / viewers?

I've only been testing this on my local server. Using Mercury mail and sending it to my MS Outlook 2003 client. I'm new to this "local email server" stuff, so it could be a setting in my postoffice. If so, the problem could very well go away once I move the application to the target web host.
Keep us posted if you notice anything causing it and after the move.

For the record, here is the symptom I'm seeing.

Notice the spaces that were introduced in "mindsprin g" and "Paulv ille". Sometimes, the space breaks the <font> code, and I lose the formatting.
Very very odd, never seen this. Nothing really programming / code wise that would be inserting a space in random words.
Let me know what happens when you move the install / mail server.
For what it's worth, I'm running MySQL 5.0.45 server and client. According to the documentation, there seem to be some changes in how this version handles trailing whitespace compared to earlier versions.
Don't know if this is relevant, but thought I would throw it out.

Any info online about this you could point us to?
