After my Website was down and the provider restored the old files I get this error message:
DB_Lock : Can't create filelock : Permission denied
There is already an answer to this issue hier in this forum, but there is no .lock folder anywhere in the folders of Forms.
Otherwise this program has worked well for many years.
Thanks for the answer
You need to re-set the writable / 777 permission on the /prog_files/ folder.
Thanks for the answer. I set the 777 permission and now I can access the forms. Just the forms I had created before are lost. forms/admin.cgi is reseted to the default values, although I also replaced my local copy of admin.cgi. Do I have to make all the forms again or there is a possiblity to retrive them somehow again?
Thanks

Would think the data files should have been restored? Are there any back-up files in the /prog_files/ folder?

Yes, I think so. there are 9 Files with the names: "setup.dat.2006-06-backup.cgi", to "setup.dat.2007-08-backup.cgi" + "settings.dat.cgi" and "setup.dat.cgi" there.
Thanks
Should be able to get your forms back by renaming (make sure permissions are 666 after still)
setup.dat.2007-08-backup.cgi
to
setup.dat.cgi

Thanks to the great customer support of i2-services, even several years after purchasing the product.
Obviously I have done something wrong, or something is wrong on the production server. I renamed the setup.dat.2007-08-backup.cgi to setup.dat.cgi, but after a while setup.dat.2007-08-backup.cgi appears again and again. No problem, I will do the settings again.
Thanks again for the great support
Were you not able to get your old data back up from the back-up files? They should be in one of the back-ups.
A new backup for the current month will be re-created so no problem there.
You're quite welcome! Thanks for the kind words.
