When a new member registers an account on my site can I have the "New Account Waiting Approval" email sent to more than one account?

For example: the site owner needs to approve the person as a suitable member of his site, but I as the webmaster need to create a folder on the server for the user account. Therefore, if we could both receive the "New Account Waiting Approval" email at the same time, we'd both be able to do our individual jobs and speed up the registration process.

I've tried to put two email addresses in the Account Admin e-Mail field in the mail settings screen but it just throws up an error.

Any ideas anyone?

Dave.
the only way , at the moment, i can think of doing this would be to add your email address to the "cc" section of setup options>manage email templates>account created-edit.

then you would get a copy of the email sent to each confirmed account.

Unfortunately no cc option on that e-mail template.

I could provide PHP code you could enter into the subscribed.php template which you could use to send out an additional e-mail and even customize it how you wish (not being the text in the new account to approve e-mail).

Would you want to try that?

??. there is on mine

Think the author of the thread is referring to the "new account waiting for approval" e-mail.
Mmm, ok, but why set up folders etc for accounts that are only waiting approval (some may be bogus or invalid), why not wait until actual approval is made, then as the "account approved" email is sent (and cc'd to the webmaster), the the webmaster can set up the folder.

If you get my drift LOL
or maybe this sytem descussed here:

would save the webmaster the trouble?

Thanks GWP - I'll have a go at implementing this - as you say, it'll save me some time & effort which is always a good thing in my book.

I would still be nice to have a CC: option on the email template as well though - perhaps in the next release?

Dave.
