Does CGI Form Manager have anti-bot capabilities (also known as captcha) to keep out spammers? This seems to be the biggest problem I currently have; automated programs completing and submitting forms trying to drive traffic to various web sites. Most of the anti-bot/captcha I see display a random image that people must type in manually to validate but most of them display images that are nearly unreadable even by a human and are difficult to use (too many errors in typing the image code).
A little off topic but I had to shut down my "non CGI-World" forum due to spammers. What a shame. Paid good money for program and installation.
Bob, i had a lot of trouble with spammers on my forum, i didnt let them win though, there are plenty of things that can be done to keep them out (or a least keep most of them out)
what forum software are you using?

I never said anything about a forum although I do use one. I was talking about spammers that have programs that auto-complete forms and submit them. That is all spam. Since this is the Forms Manager forum, that is why I posted my question here.
I have a couple of web pages that use forms for users to submit things and they (the forms) are constantly being spammed and I am looking at ways of stopping it.
sorry Bob, i misread the post, it was gsp16 who quoted you and added his comment about the forum at the bottom.
