I am so lost. My server is CPanel X. I used the server to upload the necessary files, but I'm still getting the 505 error. I changed the permissions as well.

In my opinion, the installation instructions are not written for people like me. I don't know how to upload in ASCII Mode.

Please help me.

Hi Peggy,

You should not use your hosts control panel (Cpanel) to upload the files. You should use an FTP client such as CuteFTP or wsFTP which both have file transfer settings (ASCII vs Binary).

Though both programs know how to handle .cgi file extensions and choose ASCII.

So my suggestion is to use an FTP client, and not your control panel's upload feature / option.

If you're still confused and would like us to do the installation (FREE) simply submit an installation ticket and we'll get right on it.

Thx!
