Sorry, i had forgotten to ask you via the support ticket, is that what i should do?
as an aside. what limit was placed on V1.75?, as i am sure some ppl used a password smaller than 6
v1.x created a random password for the account which was I believe around 7 chars. If they reset it there was no length check in 1.x via the control panel.
If its shorter then 6 currently it is no problem. If they go to change it again it would ask for 6.
