I am trying to send a text only email to my members, so have only eneterd the stuff in the lower box (plain text)
but the program is telling me:
"Please Enter HTML e-Mail Message"

why do i need to do this.

Also, can you tell me what the send variables are for this, as i have a cap of 200 emails per hour.

The e-Mail your members will get depends on their "enable HTML e-mail" setting within their account. Its a user preference so some may have text, while others have HTML e-mail selected.

This is why both need to be filled in.

e-Mail limits can be tricky. You could try setting the batch to 190 and have it wait an hour. Which needs to
be in seconds:

60 * 60 * 2 = seconds you enter.

is that a typo, 60x60x2 would be 2 hours, or is there a reason for it?

Sorry, you needed 1 hour, not 2 so yes. I used "2" thinking two hours.
